For this wine, the best grapes are used from the hilly area of Montecchia di Crosara.
The soil consists of limestone and boulders.
Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and lasts 7 to 10 days. During this period, there is peeling contact.
The wine matures afterwards in stainless steel tanks.

North of the village of Soave lies the winery Ca’Rugate. Ca’ Rugate owes its name to the Rugate hill.
The largest part of the vineyards of Ca’ Rugate lies on the dark, volcanic soil of this hill.
The Tessari family, now the fourth generation, makes wines that are grafted on history and tradition. Wines with precision and the character of the volcanic soil.
In addition to the high-quality Soave with international fame,
Ca’ Rugate also makes very stylish and refined Valpolicella wines, with the Amarone Punta 470 as the highlight.
