Château Fombrauge is a St. Emilion Grand Cru Classés owned by Mr. Bernard Magrez. In 2012, imposing investments were made (many new small cuves were purchased), in order to be able to apply plotwise vinification.
In any case, the investments made are paying off. The château is also advised by Mr. Michel Rolland, who gave the wine more volume and roundness than before.
Since 2012, the château has been promoted to St. Emilion Grand Cru Classé (instead of St. Emilion Grand Cru).
