A unique terroir in the Rhône Valley
Domaine la Guintrandy’s vineyards are located on the southern slopes of the Dentelles de Montmirail massif, on soils of black marl, clay, silt and sand. This terroir, combined with a high planting density per hectare, ensures low yields per vine and grapes of exceptional quality, with intense, concentrated flavours.
Sustainable organic farming and modern vinification techniques
Domaine la Guintrandy is committed to sustainable organic viticulture, preserving soil fertility and promoting biodiversity. Artisanal vinification, including manual destemming and a 3-week maceration period, allows the unique characteristics of the terroir to be fully expressed. Modern technologies such as optical sorting machines and temperature-controlled fermentation tanks ensure consistent high quality.
