Leza Garc\u00eda<\/strong> Rioja Crianza<\/strong> Tinto Familia<\/strong> comes from estate-owned vineyards in Rioja Alta<\/strong>, in the area surrounding Uru\u00f1uela, at an altitude between 500 and 800 metres. The cool climate and significant elevation help to ensure a slow ripening process, resulting in finesse and a fresh, well-defined structure. The soils consist mainly of calcareous clay, a subsoil renowned for contributing concentration, tension and aromatic depth.<\/p>

The wine is aged for 15 months in oak barrels, with the staves made from American oak and the barrel heads made from French oak. This combination creates a subtle balance between spice and refined, elegant wood influences. After the barrel ageing, the wine is further matured in bottle for at least six months in the cellars, allowing the aromas to integrate and adding an extra layer of complexity.<\/p>

This family-run winery excels in producing Riojas that reflect a contemporary style \u2014 with ripe fruit and structural precision \u2014 while still retaining a recognisable classical signature. The family has been active in viticulture since the first half of the 20th century and fully professionalised its operations in 1994.
