Château Siaurac, situated in the heart of the Pomerol appellation, has been in the hands of the Guichard family since 1832. The estate spans 40 hectares of vineyards, with 79% planted with Merlot and 21% with Cabernet Franc. These expansive vineyards cover a variety of soils, including gravel for silky tannins and aromatic richness, sandy-clay for power and texture, and clay soil for structure.
Since 2006, Château Siaurac has collaborated with the renowned consultant Stéphane Derenoncourt. Their joint efforts focus on refining the unique characteristics of each terroir, respecting the natural features of the vineyards. This approach ensures that each bottle is the result of meticulous craftsmanship and the natural expression of the terroirs.
Quality is paramount at Château Siaurac, and every aspect of the winemaking process is treated with the utmost care. The goal is to create a wine that is greedy, fruity, and sensual, with supple tannins enhancing overall elegance.
In addition to their flagship wine, the estate also offers a second wine, showcasing their commitment to excellence and diversity in their offerings. The combination of tradition, family heritage, and modern craftsmanship makes Château Siaurac a esteemed estate in the world of Bordeaux wines.
