“Crafted from carefully selected vineyards in the picturesque Mendoza province of Argentina, our Chardonnay embodies the essence of this enchanting region. The Chardonnay grapes are meticulously destemmed, cold-peeled, and gently pressed before undergoing fermentation in stainless steel tanks, precisely controlled at 15 degrees Celsius for 21 days. This process is followed by a brief period of contact with oak. Our vineyards, with sandy soils, are nourished by pure Andes mountain water.
Founded in 1883 with a small vineyard nestled at the base of the Andes, known as El Trapiche, our journey began as a local venture. Over time, Trapiche has evolved into a prestigious winery, boasting over 1,000 hectares of lush vineyards. Additionally, we collaborate with more than 300 talented winemakers in the region, uniting the finest terroirs of Mendoza in our portfolio.
Trapiche stands as a trailblazer in the world of Malbec. Our commitment to this varietal is evident in the range of Malbec wines we produce, spanning a variety of price points, from affordable to premium. Notably, our flagship offerings include the Single Vineyard Malbecs, presented in iconic heavy bottles with white labels and red capsules. Each year, our Chief Winemaker, Daniel Pi, and his dedicated team meticulously select the three most exceptional Malbec terroirs from our partner winemakers, showcasing the extraordinary quality of Malbec from local grape growers to the global audience.
Yet, our ambition extends beyond crafting outstanding Malbecs. In the years ahead, Trapiche aims to solidify its position as one of the ‘Most Admired Wine Brands in the World.’ This renowned ranking is annually published by Drinks International. In pursuit of this goal, we are committed to delivering quality across our entire wine range. With a wide array of grape varieties, we cater to the diverse preferences of a global audience, offering exceptional wines at every price point.”
