Originating from the lieu-dit Poncié in the Fleurie appellation. This vineyard lies on pink granite soil, at an altitude of 260 metres and facing south-east. The vines are 45 years old. The grapes are hand-picked and carefully selected.

Whole bunches are used for fermentation. This process takes 12 days and is done via macération semi-carbonique, also known as ‘Vinification Beaujolaise’. This method enhances the fruity character and provides a supple structure. After fermentation, the wine matures for 6 months in cement tanks and then 3 months in bottle.

Anita Neveu, a former professional cyclist, now devotes her energy entirely to producing Beaujolais wines. Working exclusively with quality terroirs, she creates Gamay wines that receive high ratings from critics such as Robert Parker, James Suckling and Wine Enthusiast. Her winery has quickly built a strong reputation and won several prestigious awards, highlighting the team’s quality and dedication.

AOP Fleuri: refined Cru du Beaujolais

AOP Fleuri is one of the ten Crus of Beaujolais and is known for its elegant and aromatic wines. Located in the north of the region, this area of origin produces wines made exclusively from the Gamay grape. The vineyards are located on granite-rich soils, which contributes to the finesse and minerality of the wines.

Within this appellation, Poncié is one of the most renowned terroirs. This hilly area, with its well-drained soils and optimal zonal exposure, produces wines that show a distinct refinement and depth. Poncié wines are characterised by floral aromas, with prominent notes of violets and roses, complemented by fresh red fruits such as raspberries and cherries. The structure is silky smooth, with subtle spiciness and a long, elegant finish.

Compared to other vineyards in the region, the wines from Poncié tend to have slightly greater intensity and complexity, which allows them to age excellently. This makes them not only accessible in their youth, but also interesting for enthusiasts who want to follow the development of this Beaujolais Cru. Thanks to the combination of terroir and vinification methods, the area produces wines that are both accessible and refined, perfectly suited to various gastronomic pairings.
